The beefy head tube is appropriate for a 29er. The lockout valve for the front suspension shock is visible at middle left.

Full drivetrain view
The 11-36 rear cassette is definitely needed on a 29er due to the larger wheels.
Front chainrings
The 11-36 rear cassette is definitely needed on a 29er due to the larger wheels, even with the 2X10 gearing of 26 X 39.
Rear drive train
The 11-36 rear cassette is definitely needed on a 29er due to the larger wheels, since the 29er wheels effectively make it about one gear less mechanical advantage (1.1X different in rolling distance per wheel revolution).
Front suspension fork
Beefy Fox 32 fork.
Rear shock
The front and rear tires are not the same; the front is a 2.25" tire with aggressive tread, and the rear is a 2.0" tire with less aggressive tread.
The lockout valve is visible at lower right.
Brake levers
A clean mount on the bar leaves plenty of bar space for accessories, such as lights and electronics.
Tires
The front and rear tires are not the same; the front is a 2.25" tire with aggressive tread, and the rear is a 2.0" tire with less aggressive tread.
Seatpost and saddle
The seat is light weight and comfortable.
