Real science is never settled, and anyone who has certainty on such things is not qualified to discuss it.
How does anyone know what to believe about COVID and its policies?
Trust is vaporized, science is in disarray, experts vehemently disagree, coercion and lies are the operating system, medical battery is deemed acceptable by some doctors, and human motivations like follow the money and cognitive dissonance are the bedrock of it all. Ugghh!
Background
I’m no fan of the COVID Jab and was never Jabbed. There was my April 2020 infection which was never proven to be COVID* and an antibody test in August 2020 for COVID antibodies that was negative. Yet that April infection was unlike anything I ever had experienced before, and with lasting issues* that emerged 6 weeks later.
I never got COVID "again" in spite of close contact 3 times with infected family members, *all* of whom had been Jabbed (two because of educational coercion which I deem medical battery), and all of who were infected within months of the Jab. My one daughter who was not Jabbed (medical exemption) did just fine, getting over it in a week. Two parents got COVID in spite of being triple Jabbed—did the Jab help/save them or do nothing for them? Dunno. But at least in my family, the COVID Jab had 0% effectiveness for prevention. Which means it cannot be ruled out that it enhanced infection.
So I have ample personal basis to be skeptical. But as a thinking person, I have to be just as skeptical for claims that support what I think is likely as those that refute it.
Evaluating articles like the one below
The most striking thing about the article below is how helpless it feels to read it and feel no better off for understanding what the truth is. It’s one damned big public argument that is one throbbing headache from lots of smoke and no visible fire.
When articles like the one below abound, and “science” is now at its core little better than politics and follow the money, it creates a trust and truth black hole, sucking in everything and blinding us.
Trust the “experts” who lied to us for years and still are, experts with powerful follow the money motivations as well as career risk and cognitive dissonance brick walls inside their minds? That’s no better than trusting authors of the article below because anyone who has everything to lose can never be trusted.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.
What I can do is to refuse medical care abuse that reeks of politics and money, which is just about all of it these days. That has been and is my operating system for several years now. Break a leg set the bone, but take a statin or the Jab that’s politics.
* But which dealt me an apparently permanent disability—auto immune disease—from which I might never recover.

The safety data are nothing less than horrifying
Let’s summarize what we now know of the negative efficacy of the COVID-19 vaccines, and why vaccinated people—not the unvaxxed—suffer frequent bouts of COVID-19.

Public Health ‘Experts’ Have Not Been Straightforward With the Data
A confounding factor for assessing safety or efficacy of the COVID-19 vaccines has been a deceptive use of the word “unvaccinated” by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to not only include those who were never COVID-19-vaccinated but also those who have received a dose of a COVID-19 vaccine less than seven or 14 days ago. This “case-counting window bias” allows infections, injuries, and deaths immediately following vaccination to be assigned to, and sometimes even attributed to, the “unvaccinated” category, by deceptive sleight of hand.
Fung, Jones, et al. write of such deception: “This asymmetry, in which the case-counting window nullifies cases in the vaccinated group but not in the unvaccinated group, biases estimates.” [6] A problem with this miscategorization is that injuries and deaths have all peaked closely following COVID-19 vaccination—mostly on the first day—as in the graph below. Yet those individuals, for being so recently vaccinated, are falsely assigned the label “unvaccinated,” confounding much of the reported data.

COVID-19 Vaccines Have Negative Efficacy, and What That Means
...The COVID-19 vaccines have not only failed to reduce cases and hospitalizations from Omicron and COVID-19 generally, but they have actually increased the incidence of both. Results of negative efficacy of the COVID-19 vaccines are seen all over the world.
Negative Efficacy Shown by the Most Prestigious Medical Journals
The New England Journal of Medicine shows that those who are fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19 recover significantly more slowly from the illness and remain contagious for longer periods of time after SARS-CoV-2 infection. [9]
...The Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) published data showing that persons receiving two or more doses of COVID-19 vaccines experienced more re-infections with COVID-19 than people receiving 0 to 1 dose and that the probability of reinfection increased with time...

Original Antigenic Sin

WIND: the article feels partisan, lacking in balance. Correlation is not causation and a lot of the article seems to be of that nature. Still, some of the claims might be valid. Taking the CDC’s word for it is asking the fox about missing chickens. But by the same token, I cannot take the claims at face value.
So how do these claims jive with everything I know about the world, having had the active mind of an engineer and philosopher and free thinker since the age of 6 (when I rejected religion baesd on logic).
The “frequent bouts of COVID” for the Jabbed claim rings true eg my Jabbed family members and my failure to ever get COVID "again", and the prominent public “experts” getting COVID over and over again. Anecdotal, but it matches up.

Spiking of mortality following vaccine administration, if true, needs a credible explanation. It seems to me that one either has to disprove such a spike, or to have a darned good explanation other than the Jab. But I expect the authorities to do whatever they can to obscure the issue, including providing garbage data, to make the issue go away.
With the government, the only rational adult-thinker assumption is guilt whenever any attempt to withhold or obscure data is seen. Cooking the data with an arbitrary counting bias window makes me deeply skeptical of official claims. That is not science, it is medical fraud supporting politics. At the least, the analysis needs to offer multiple “takes” with different counting metrics, for comparison.
See my problem? I cannot get past any of the bad science and ugly human motivations that would help me disbelieve the claims, which is not the same as saying I endorse or accept them.
