Basal Cell Carcinoma? Maybe not

Apparently this is what a basal cell carcinoma can look like. It needs to be surgically removed, assuming a biopsy confirms that.. Ahhh, the hassles of aging. But it’s way better than a melanoma!
The main risk with skin cancer is just getting used to something being there... and then it goes south and it’s a Problem. This thing has been there a year or so.
UPDATE: the thing grows and shrinks; the dermatologist is not sure what it is. A surface scrap might reveal much, so I am going to have it cut out.
