Real science is never settled, and anyone who has certainty on such things is not qualified to discuss it.
Tough to prove causality, maybe impossible. And it could be backwards science.
However, I am onboard with the idea that phones and tablets deliver permanent loss of function for young brains, and negatively affect adults also. All you need to do is watch people somewhere, anywhere. Try to interact with a cyborg and it’s startling.
Meanwhile, there is now a way to make it worse, much worse, by tuning-out even more.
