The Schwalbe Racing Ralph cyclocross tire @AMAZON is a lightweight clincher tire (also available in tubular) with an aggressive tread pattern.

I tested the 'Evo' version 'Racing Ralph HS 425' on my Moots Psychlo X RSL.

The Racing Ralph offers very good grip with low rolling resistance, though on pavement one can clearly feel the extra effort as compared with a smooth road racing tire— to be expected of course.

Road noise is relatively low, and the tires actually roll quite well if one inflates them to 60-70 PSI. But that pressure is not friendly on rough ground.

The specifications call for 30-85 psi, but pinch flats are a risk under 50 psi, so I ride mine around 65 psi. With appropriate trails, 50 psi is probably a reasonable pressure, and 65 psi can be a bit harsh on rough trails.

On hardpack with loose fine gravel, the grip is excellent.

Weight as weighed

I saw a 22g weight variation in the two tires I weighed:

285g, 307g

The nominal weight of 320g is much higher than the actual as-weighed figure.
