Moots Titanium Mountain Bike Handlebar

For my Moots MootoX RSL, I switched from a Bontrager RL Big Sweep aluminum bar to a custom-width 26" Moots titanium handlebar

In doing so, there was a weight gain of 79 grams, quite significant. And of course there are even lighter carbon fiber bars to be had out there, like the Easton EC90. Titanium is definitely not the lightest material, but it is highly durable, and looks great, and feels great.

As should be clear, I did not switch to a titanium handlebar to add weight to my bike. Rather, it was for the feel of titanium. In particular, the Ti bar has a just-detectable give (flex) at the ends, and this helps with comfort for multi-hour rides on rough trails.

I also wanted a flat bar so that my Lupine lights would point straight ahead when mounted on the handlebar.
