Elon Musk calls AI a potentially “civilization destroying” technology. And:

“they’re training the AI to lie” — Elon Musk

What about making it into a psyops tool, a mass hypnosis tool, a social control tool? I have the sense that Elon Musk knows all this and more, and is choosing not to elaborate too much. Perhaps because it’s too ugly.

Is the real risk with AI a private risk (corporations), or the government using it for social control?
