2010 LOOK '595 Ultra' Image Gallery
Images of the bike I tested.
Construction shows first-class workmanship throughout; the carbon needs no paint to look beautiful (note that this is a well-used and slightly dirty bike, not a shiny new one).
HSC-6 Fork
The head tube and fork are robust and sturday, and this can be felt in handling on on bumpy pavement.
Drive train and Shimano Di2 battery placement
The Shimano DuraAce Di2 drive train with SRM 7950 power meter and Yumeya chain.
The Di2 battery is placed on the seat tube just under the water bottle cage. The sealing on the DI2 battery is excellent, so I have no concerns about water bottle leakage.
Top tube, stem, handlebar
The top tube is relatively narrow, and it is straight, not gracefully curved as with the LOOK 695 SR.
Seat tube, post, saddle
More well-done carbon. Not as elegant as the 695 SR though.
The lugged construction is clearly visible. I greatly prefer lugged frames (so far) as compared to the monocoque frame; the monocoque frames I’ve ridden so far have felt dead as wood.
