MootoX RSL built up with Shimano XTR and Easton EC90 XC wheels, RockShox SID

Neil at Palo Alto Bicycles built up this beautiful Moots MootoX RSL 29er using the build kit and wheels I obtained from BikeBling.com.

The red frame accents tie into the red accents on the wheels, a nice suggestion from Neil.

Frame triangle, oblique view

The 29er frame has a bend in the bottom tube for reasons of clearance, at least on the 18" frame. This is done as elegantly as it can be, and there really aren’t any other better options with metal.

RockShox SID 29 XX

The 2012 RockShox SID 29 XX suspension fork is almost as light as some forks for 26" bikes.
