Hydrophobic Sunglasses

Aside from the wet stuff and road grit, the biggest problem for me when riding in the rain is the poor view of the road due to water all over my sunglasses.

I’m looking for a sunglass of light shade or clear that has a hydrophobic coating to which water simply will not adhere, thus keeping my riding glasses clean, and my view of the road clear.

Ideally, the coating would also be oleophobic as well, but I’m not sure that a coating can be both hydrophobic and oleophobic.

I might try some Rain-X @AMAZON on my sunglasses to see if that works as well as on a windshield, where it does work very well with the assistance of wind to push off the droplets.

Oakley Hydrophobic

Oakley makes a hydrophobic sunglasss. Fit, style, scratch resistance all come into play too, so I’ll have to find a store to see if appeal.
