Trek Madone 6.9 SSL with Lightweight Ventoux 240 wheels
On February 12, I took delivery of my Trek Madone 6.9 SSL with the Lightweight Ventoux 240 wheelset.
By tomorrow, I’ll have over 1000 miles experience on it.
I’d have more, but the excessive Feb/March rain encouraged me to ride my “rain bike” at least 10 days during that time.
In a nutshell, the bike is terrific and the Ventoux wheels are fantastic.
I wouldn’t have thought I’d enjoy it so much more than my prior Trek Madone 5.9 SSLX with the ZIPP 303 wheels. But in fact the new bike has exceeded my expectations in its overall feel. Highly recommended.
