Mini V Brakes Solve the Cyclocross Braking Issue — Way Better than Cantilever Brakes

My test ride notes with the Moots Pyschlo X RSL noted that the cantilever brakes were a good way to injure oneself, so were best used only by cyclocross racers.

I am pleased to report that mini V brakes offer very good stopping power— I had a chance to try them out today on another brand cyclocross bike, and I deem them quite satisfactory.

My advice to anyone considering a cyclocross bike for general use is to avoid cantilever brakes, and go to mini V brakes.
