Twitter To Punish Users Who Correctly Claim That Vaccinated Individuals Can Still Spread COVID-19

Real science is never settled, and anyone who has certainty on such things is not qualified to discuss it.

Like Google, Twitter has become a force for evil and propaganda.

Twitter To Punish Users Who Correctly Claim That Vaccinated Individuals Can Still Spread COVID-19

2021-12-15, BY TYLER DURDEN

Twitter, which dubs itself the arbiter of medical misinformation through its constellation of conflicted 'fact-checkers,' will start imposing penalties on users who claim that vaccinated people can spread Covid-19... a claim made by none other than the US CDC Director, the NIH, Facui, and countless other officials

...In other words, Twitter will penalize people for spreading common medical knowledge about Covid-19.

"When tweets include misleading information about Covid-19, we may place a label on those tweets that includes corrective information about that claim," reads a quietly updated section of its rules governing Covid-19 misinformation reported by Mediaite.

"We may apply labels to tweets that contain, for example… false or misleading claims that people who have received the vaccine can spread or shed the virus (or symptoms, or immunity) to unvaccinated people."

WIND: this is getting too 1984 for my taste. Follow the (fake) science has now become “repeat after us...”. Free speech is an elusive thing these days, what with the “public square” pretty much being Twitter, Facebook, etc. Yeah, I know these are private companies and I don’t think enough of a free market exists to let capitalism solve it.

The solution is to stop using Twitter, Google, Facebook and their ilk. Few will contemplate that and it is not very practical given their near-monopolies, so this abuse will continue and worsen.
