COVID Crisis? All but Empty ER During my Visit
re: COVID
Real science is never settled, and anyone who has certainty on such things is not qualified to discuss it.
It seems that the emergency room (ER) at the hospital is far from overwhelmed from COVID, at least in Redwood City (San Mateo County).
When I arrived, there was one patient in the waiting room. He was seen in 2 minutes. I waited about 5 minutes to be seen and ushered into a room of my own.
There was no apparent activity relating to COVID of any kind that I could see. An injured arm, one crying baby, the place was strangely quiet with no hustle and bustle, pretty darn slow and uneventful. I chose a good night to show up, as the place is probably full of dying COVID patients most nights.
That’s good starting point, since the Brandon administration says that we are very soon going to be in for a winter of severe illness and death.
