My father (80's) and his wife both have COVID. He sounded pretty bad 2 days ago, but things do not seem to be getting worse, and now definitely better. She is lagging by a day, but same idea.
Had me worried but things look like they’ll be fine.
Both jabbed and boosted, but a while ago. Great “vaccine” that COVID jab.
OTOH, maybe the fact that they both are doing OK and look like they’ll be fine could be attributed to being jabbed and boosted. But since no one can say, that’s only a rationalization in favor of the jab, and confirmation bias to boot. That is, if one asserts full confidence in the claim. Since the Jab and Booster were not for Omicron, they may have been for naught, but I won’t get suckered into feeling confident in that either.
Now you can get the new tested-in-litter-of-mice bivalent jab (no human testing), which should work twice as well (which might or might not mean multiplying by a zero) and who knows—maybe twice the negative side effects. Who can say, given zero testing on people?
