Shimano I-Spec Mount SM-SL78

One problem I ran into with a standard Shimano XTR 'Race' setup was that the brake and shifter levers each mounted on the bar with a separate clamp thus forced the RockShox remote lockout too far away from the outside of the bar, forcing my hand to move too far to get to it.

The Shimano SM-SL78 I-Spec upgrade allows the brake and shifter levers to stack, so that there is only one clamp on the bar for both items. This allows the remote lockout to be moved inward the better part of an inch, so that a hand resting at the end of the bar can reach the lockout without having to move.

This is an excellent ergonomic upgrade that I highly recommend.
