Easton EC90 Carbon Fiber Bar Ends

The Easton EC90 carbon fiber bar ends are very compact and at 80g (< 3 ounces) for the set, pretty much a no-brainer for the functionality/weight considerations (I did not weigh them before installation, 80g is Easton’s nominal spec).

I installed the Easton EC90 bar ends on my Moots MootoX RSL. They work great, relieving the steady hand pressure when one has consistent ground to cover, and also providing a nice assist for climbing.

Another bonus is that a bar end provides a reference point for the hands to bump up against, which can help in finding a fork lockout, or shifter lever, etc.

As with all bar ends, they aren’t useful when frequent shifting is required, since one must move hands to the handlebar to shift.
