Moots Titanium MTB Seat Post

The Moots titanium seat post (Moots calls it a “cinch post”) is a durable and functional and comfortable seat post that your butt will appreciate after hours in the saddle.

Titanium is not the lightest material, but it is durable, and has “give” to it that can be lacking with aluminum or carbon fiber. Hence, my butt gets the special titanium treatment on all my bikes.

Weight for Moots cinch post, 27.2mm diameter, 380mm: 233.5 grams

As shown below, it is mounted with Moots titanium spacers from the MootoX RSL, and a Moots titanium handlebar on a Moots2012 MootoX YBB 29er. The saddle is a Bontrager Affinity RXL.

Note: the brassing on the seat post is from the saddlebag (not shown) that was attached around the seat post; a new seat post from Moots is beautifully finished.
