Capo Cycling LE Wind Vest

The Capo Cycling LE Wind Vest is one of those products I wish I had owned for years, because it solves a key problem: how to take a vest in case the weather turns cold without overstuffing a jersey pocket.

I own a number of other vests, including a sleeveless Pearl Izumi one, but they don’t stuff nearly as small as the LE Wind Vest.
The LE Wind Vest is made of a very lightweight fabric. It stuffs to the size of a small orange or smaller, which means it can fit into a jersey pocket without bulging over or feeling uncomfortable, while still leaving space for other stuff, a consideration of some import for 2+ hour rides, or rides where temperatures vary by up to 60° F, putting jersey pocket space at a premium.
Because it’s such a no-brainer to take along, the LE Wind Vest has now become one of my favorite must-have pieces of clothing for cycling.
Fit
My only complaint, which could be specific to me, is that the size Medium is too small (binds across my chest), and the size Large is a bit too big, which means the should areas tend to flap in the wind at 25+ mph. So I live with the Large, and I’m darn happy to have it when the air turns colder.
