Genuine Innovations Air Chuck Elite CO2 Inflator
The Genuine Innovations Air Chuck Elite CO2 inflator is what I carry on my mountain bike for quick repairs using a CO2 cartridge.

Although the Lezyne dual-use pump has a CO2 inflator, I prefer the Air Chuck Elite; the Lezyne has failed me, and the Air Chuck looks to be just about failure-proof.
The Air Chuck Elite is push-on device, and if only a tiny portion of the valve stem protrudes, then a screw-on device might be needed.
Used with a 16g cartridge, it can inflate and seat a tubeless 29er mountain bike tire (for full pressure, use a 20g or 25g cartridge).
In short, field replacement of tubeless tires is possible with this tiny inflator and one 16g CO2 cartridge (carry a small pump to fully pressurize to 30-40 psi).
Weight
I weighed the Air Chuck Elite CO2 inflator on my OHaus lab scale at 16 grams, so it’s a no-brainer to stuff into any seat back. CO2 cartridges weigh a lot more.
Since 16g CO2 cartridges weigh 59 grams each, the CO2 inflator is a tiny portion of the weight burden of carrying CO2.
Tip: wrap CO2 cartridges in electrical tape to avoid cold fingers when using CO2.
