The magnesium supplementation I’ve been doing has my lungs working as good as they have in a decade.

Which helped a lot with my 12-pounds-too-heavy body and out-of-shape legs as I worked higher and higher towards the 14252' summit of White Mountain Peak.

The road to the summit is largely free of snow requiring only short hike-a-bike diversions. Within a week the entire route should be ridable. My Moots Mooto X YBB performed flawlessly as usual—eight years and going strong.

Update: the week following this ride, something must have triggered an Epstein Barr Virus hit—I was extremely weak for a full week afterwards. I felt fine that day and into the night, but OMG the next day I could hardly walk 100 yards. R I was hyper-fit one day, and barely able to move the next.

Update August 2021: in retrospect, the day after this ride marks onset of Long Haul COVID problems. A warning sign was seen on May 30 (extreme fatigue), but it disappeared the next day for a very long/hard hike.
